Garnelen sterben - werden blau

hallo leute. hab mich grad neu angemeldet und mich gefragt ob ihr vielleicht helfen könnt. leider muss ich schreiben, dass meine 9 garnelen (3 red, 6 japanische) gestern gestorben sind und ich weiss nicht warum. das komische ist, sie sind ganz blau geworden - hab ich vorher noch nie gesehen. (könnte da eventuell sauerstoff im spiel sein?)

ich hab mich in diesem forum schon etwas eingelesen um ein paar fragen gleich im vorfeld zu klären.

neu eingesetzt, allerdings vor 1-2 monaten:
filtermatte mit nitrat- remover. + 1 pflanze
wasserwechsel wurde auch vor kurzem durchgegührt (mit mittel gegen schwermetalle natürlich)

60 liter becken- ph wert ist auch neutral. mit dem nitrat hatte ich ziemliche probleme aber das ist auch schon etwas länger her. die garnelen sind trotzdem gewachsen und waren sehr fleissig. also ich glaub an dem kanns auch nicht wirklich liegen - oder irre ich mich da vielleicht gewaltig?

bitte um hilfe (ist kein gutes gefühl, wenn man zuschauen muss und nicht weiss, was man machen kann/soll :-( )

ich habe GH: 13 KH:6-8
die werte sind allerdings schon länger stabil und es hat ihnen bisher nichts ausgemacht.

I'm Danish so is it okay for me to write in english? I understand some german you see but I only speak/write very little german myself, unfortunately.

But I would just like to help (if I can). I had some C. multidentata that turned all blue, got cramps and died in my 54L tank. I found out that it was due to too high levels of CO2 (I inject CO2 since it is a planted tank)! (zu viel CO2) As soon as I lowered the amount of CO2, the shrimp got better almost instantly and returned to normal colour and behaviour.

By the way, I'm new in this very nice forum and my main shrimp interest is breeding CRS/red bees eventhough I haven't started yet! For the time being I just keep some b/c grades but I read a lot about breeding the shrimps and hope to buy some high grades from Germany at some point, zum beispiel hinomarus

Okay, yes thank you, I hope it works out for you:-) When my shrimp died it was quite a mystery because my CRS didn't die, it was just the amano shrimp. I don't know why CRS better tolerate high CO2 levels than amanos but so it is in my tank anyway:-)
