What kind of cambarus is it?

Hi,
I photograph the female cambarus.

Is it cambarus coosae, spicatus, scotti, girardianus, longirostris, coosawattae or speciosus?

One of my friends thinks the yellow female cambarus is longirostris.

That's his reply:

I have no doubt about the other crayfish though, it is definitely Cambarus longirostris. This species is very variable not only in color but also in structure. I am presently working with this species and it actually may represent several species that are undescribed. Look at my website http://users.alink.com/appy/ and then click on the link for Crayfishes of the upper Tennessee Basin at the bottom you can see all the different varieties of Cambarus longirostris.

Another friend thinks it's Cambarus coosae or coosawattae.

I also put the other two cambarus that have some green and blue color in another album.
They should be coosae.......maybe........ = =

He thinked the male cambarus with fouling be speciosus due to his so wide areola before.
It's very puzzling. The white lines show the areola width (the width between the gill chambers), the yellow lines show the two rows of tubercles on the palm and the blue lines show the cervical spine.

But he thinks it is probably Cambarus coosae now.

I photographed the three cambarus together.
Hope it' useful to compare their species.

Sorry, I don't know where they come from.
I'm not the specialist. Need your help to distinguish its species.
Oh, do you have some methods to let them mate?

Please anybody tell me what kind of cambarus it is.

there´s no way to tell you a safe species ID from those pictures

given the expertise of `Appy´ Stocker you should trust his advice on the female ID

concerning the males, I suggest you follow the available determination keys (e.g. http://iz.carnegiemnh.org/crayfish/Keys/index2.htm). Having no location info may be a serious flaw, though
 
Schön wenn man nichts versteht. Dachte das wäre ein deutscher Chat.
 
Das ist kein Chat, sondern das grösste Wirbellosenfachforum Europas.
Da sollten doch Fragen aus dem Ausland erlaubt sein, auch ohne Deutschkentnisse.

Edit: Es geht um die Bestimmung des Krebses. ;)
 
Oh Entschuldigung, aber ich möchte auch was verstehen können, nicht jeder hat Englischkenntnisse.

Wenn Du das alles lesen kannst dann übersetze es doch, als große Sprüche zu klopfen.

2. find ich es sehr schön, wenn sich auch ausländische Wilofans hier mitteilen
3. sollte englisch eigentlich kein problem sein, und wer es nunmal nicht kann, der braucht es ja nicht zu lesen.

Wenn du es nicht lesen kannst,dann frag doch einfach nett nach ob es dir evtl jemand übersetzen kann.
Wenn du so reagierst musst du dich nicht wundern wenn im selben Schreibstil zurück geschrieben wird.

Das muss doch nicht sein,oder?
Wenn ich etwas was mich intressiert,
nicht lesen kann lasse ich es mir auch übersetzen und meckere nicht rum!

Es geht echt freundlicher.

Dann schreib ich demnächst auf polnisch, dann kann auch keiner was lesen. Egal ob einen das Thema interessiert oder nicht. Haben die Leute dann Pech gehabt oder wie?

@momoline, was willst du denn, ich habe nur geschrieben. Schön wenn man nichts versteht. Wo reg ich mich da auf, oder sitzt du gerade neben mir das du gerade siehst was ich tue?

ich kann jedem nur das Google Sprachtool ans Herz legen. Sehr hilfreich zum Übersetzen kurzer Texte und Sätze. Das Benutzen würde diese unnötige off topic Diskussion und den leider zunehmenden unhöflichen Ton erspraren.

das ist das schwierige beim geschrieben,man sieht nie den Gegenüber....

und das kam eben echt nicht so nett rüber.

Wo ist das Problem,wenn man nach einer Übersetzung fragt?

Englisch ist nun mal die "Weltsprache" und nein es muss nicht jeder können.
Aber viele verstehen es und können einem User mit Fragen der kein Deutsch kann am ehsten helfen.

ich bin dir gegenüber höflich geblieben und möchte bitte auch so angeschrieben werden !

Da gebe ich Dir recht und wir haben hier viele ausländische Wilofans.
Türkische, Polnische, Russische, und so weiter. Die schreiben hier Deutsch.
Zur Info: Es gibt auch die englische Version des Forums...

Da in der DDR russisch Plichtfach war, kann ich persönlich auch nicht mit englisch dienen...;)

Das Google Sprachtool macht das für dich. Am PC hast du doch alle Möglichkeiten...
Allerdings bin ich froh, das Englisch geschrieben wird, den das Sprachtool hat bei der Grammatik probleme und da könnte man was falsch verstehen.

Das du allerdings so unhöflich reagierst, das verstehe ich wiederum nicht.

@ species ID: no matter how hard you are asking for it - it´s just not possible to tell you a reasonable species ID, especially since they are females !
And I´m not going to raise any vague speculations

Your best option is to contact the person who sold those crayfish to you, or just stick by the fact that you have several Cambarus spp.

Most Cambarus need low winter temperatures to reproduce successfully.

and last but not least: be aware of a potential crayfish plague infection ...
